FORUM IN VITRO

I know that there are a few people out there that have initialized Heliamphora from explants, but they're keeping pretty tight lipped about it. I was wondering if anyone out there that has had success with Heli explants might be willing to share at least some information with me.

I'm reasonably certain that one person that's had success with Heli explants uses the flower stalk and I have a guess at the media they use as well, but I'm not certain about it. Does anyone have a guess as to what media might be good for initialization?

The part that I'm least sure about is when the flower stalk is harvested, what the sterilization procedure is, and exactly what part of the flower stalk to use.

I'm not sure if anyone's been able to initiate Heli cultures from pitchers, but I'm thinking about giving this a try at some point as well.

Has anyone successfully initialized Heliamphora from explants and might be willing to share a bit about their technique?
