Hello all!

I was just wondering if anyone has had any LUCK in inducing callus in Dionaea muscipula? I'm currently working on a project and it involves Dionaea muscipula to be in a callus state....Anyone know what media a.k.a recipe works best???

According to Beebe (1980) "Morphogenetic Responses of Seedlings and Adventitious Buds of the Carnivorous Plant Dionaea muscipula in Aseptic Culture"


One of the best medium for callus initiation is 10^-7 M NAA and 10^-6 M BA.
