these are d. nidiformis seeds sprouting on 1/3MS media with no hormones, 20 days after sowing:

1/3 MS+vitamins and 2 g/L gelrite (the gel was very weak to begin with)
sterilization: 5 min in 10% bleach, 2 H20 rinses.

4 month-old D. nidiformis from seed (no re-plate)
