Does anyone here have experience with D. cistiflora? I've got some seeds I want to put into culture, but I'm not sure what kind of media they might like.

Drosera costiflora isn't exacting on composition medium .
Seeds germination :
1/3 MS + vitamins, 2mg/l GA3
Propagation:
1/3 MS + vitamins, hormones according to needs. Cistiflora responds on 0,5mg/l Kinetin + 0,2 IBA very well.

Thanks for the response. Do you use 1/3 micronutrients and vitamins too, or boost them to full strength?

GA3 huh? I guess that means D. cistiflora seeds are difficult to germinate. I'm glad you saw my post because I don't have many seeds, and I would not have known to use GA3.

GA3 is used for most of the plants which does have dormancy period. I have sown D.cistiflora before few years in vitro and i have not used GA3. But in this case the germination can take longer ( over month ).

I have not used GA3 before, but have read that autoclaving reduces the activity of GA3 solution by >90%. Do you autoclave the GA3 with everything else, or filter sterilize it and add after everything else has been autoclaved?
